How Sofia Rebuilt Her Family — Black Magic Reality in Islam-Part Three

Updated: Feb 24

Make sure to read parts 1 and 2 to learn about the upbringing of such a situation:

Satan is not only the enemy of love and marriage. He is also the sworn enemy of knowledge. He never wants a person to learn something that brings awareness, balance, and clarity of thought.

When the Home Began to Break Apart:

When hearts change overnight, it’s not always destiny — sometimes it’s black magic.

Sofia’s heart was clouded with anxiety, restlessness, inner conflict, and quarrels with her husband. The bitterness of political games and family discord weighed heavily.

Day by day, Sofia grew irritable. Her children weren’t thriving. Daniel’s business faltered. Their marriage teetered on the edge, neither broken nor fully intact, constantly strained.

One afternoon, her friend Neha visited. Sofia sat quietly, holding her head.

“Dear, what happened?”

“This headache won’t go away,” Sofia whispered. “And everything at home keeps worsening. My daughters sit idle. Daniel works alone. The boys’ jobs are unstable, and our marriage feels like it’s hanging by a thread."

Sofia sighed in frustration. “I’ve repented. I won’t go to charms again; they only brought disaster. Yet, nothing has changed.”

Neha smiled, “I know a highly knowledgeable Scholar who can help. "He will guide you and show the right path."

Persuaded, Sofia agreed. They visited Sir Abdul Rehman, an Islamic scholar and Psychologist. The moment he saw Sofia, he immediately sensed the depth of her struggle.

Is Black Magic Real? Guidance from a Trusted Islamic Scholar

When peace turns into pain, know that something unseen may be working behind the walls.

He said softly:

Belief in Allah is the mark of a true believer. Mistakes happen, but trust, gratitude, and sincere repentance define the heart.

"You are affected by envy and harmful influence, but the treatment I give will help.”
Sofia asked hesitantly, " Black magic…. Does this exist? "Who did this to me?”

He shook his head gently:

Yes, black magic is real. The Qur’an says: "The devils taught people magic, which could create problems and even separate a husband and wife. But it can never harm anyone except by Allah’s permission.”

(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:102)

He continued:

“I cannot tell you who did this. Just follow the remedies and Quranic verses I give you."

Healing Through Faith and Quranic Recitation

  • Stop all other charms. Nothing matters except Allah’s words.

  • Healing begins with your heart and your home.

  • Anger spreads tension, children feel it, and the household suffers.

The Household Finds Its Light After Division

Sofia followed his guidance. She recited Allah’s words.

  • The heaviness lifted. Nightmares faded.

  • Her temper softened. Arguments reduced.

  • Slowly, peace returned.

  • Daniel’s business recovered.

  • Her daughters regained life and energy.

Light returned to the home, yet one question remained: who had caused all this?

When Spells Backfire on Their Creator

Silhouette of a man in a hoodie with dark red smoke and eerie backlight, symbolizing magic and envy.

Then an unusual change began. Her brother, previously distant and restless, started appearing at her home more often.

But this time, the disaster did not fall on Sofia; it hit the one whose trap it had been: her brother’s family and home. His factory was reduced to ashes.

The shocking news came: calamity struck, and his factory was destroyed by fire.

A Brother’s Secret: A Sister’s Dark Influence

But the real shock came when Sofia’s sister suddenly became paralyzed. An emergency call summoned Sofia to the hospital.

On the bed, broken and trembling, her sister wept and begged for forgiveness.

“I wronged you,” she confessed. “I envied your wealth, your comfortable life, your loving husband, your brilliant and fortunate children, even your beauty. I had magic done against you… But it turned back on me.”

The words struck harder than any proof ever could, revealing her brother’s wicked greed and her sister’s envy.

The Sinister Plot Behind the Family Curse

The destruction meant for Sofia’s home rebounded, leaving her family safe and grateful.

This is why Islam advises against flaunting your blessings or achievements.

Magic as a Major Sin

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Avoid the seven destructive sins.” The companions asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what are they? "He said: “Associating partners with Allah (shirk), sorcery (sihr)."

Sahih al-Bukhari – Hadith 2766

The Hadith About Magic on the Prophet ﷺ

Even our last Prophet ﷺ experienced black magic, but unlike ordinary people, his spiritual and religious practices remained unaffected.

His struggle was more subtle, showing primarily in physical and mental symptoms.

Syeda Aisha (RA) – may Allah be pleased with her – reported:

The Prophet ﷺ was bewitched to the extent that he imagined he had done things which he had not done. Two men came to him and said, ‘He has been bewitched. Labid ibn Al‑Asam did it, placing it in the well of Dhī Arwān.”

(Sahih al‑Bukhari 5765)
