Why do Clouds Burst? Islamic & scientific perspective theory

A few days ago, I watched a shocking video: animals moving in perfect circles, while in another clip, a sudden cloudburst struck with incredible force. My heart trembled as I wondered. Do events like these have a deeper meaning? Could there be a connection in Islam? And what does science reveal about these unusual phenomena?

Why do clouds burst?

A cloudburst is a rare and powerful natural event, where clouds suddenly release a massive amount of water, as if a dam in the sky has burst. Unlike regular rain, this intense downpour can cause devastating floods, severe erosion, and landslides.

The Quran says,

"Do you not see that Allah drives the clouds, then joins them together, then piles them into layers, and then you see rain coming from within them?"

Surah An-Nur (24:43)

This verse shows that cloudbursts are under Allah’s control and are a sign of His power.

Is the end of the world near?

In 2022 and 2023, countless videos and images have surfaced showing animals moving in a perfect circle. Sheep in China, Horses, and even birds in Russia are spinning in circular patterns.

Scientists are still unable to explain why this is happening. Why is this occurring in different parts of the world within just two weeks?

Some Theories Suggest

- A virus affecting animals' brains, making them spin.

- Magnetic waves from the North and South Poles influence their behavior.

- Others believe it could be a sign of Dajjal’s (disbeliever) arrival.

Whatever the reason, something unusual is happening, something that scientists and experts cannot fully understand!

The next 6 months may reveal a deep connection with our planet.

One thing is clear:

Something major is about to happen, and even the brightest minds are struggling to explain it.

Narrated Abu Huraira (رضي الله عنه),

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

"The Hour (Last Day) will not be established until:

1. Religious knowledge is taken away (by the death of scholars),

2. Earthquakes increase in number,

3. Time passes quickly,

4. Tribulations appear,

5. And Al-Harj increases.

The Prophet (ﷺ) added: "Al-Harj means killing"

Minor Signs of Dajjal’s Emergence: Signs of Dajjal's Appearance That Have Already Manifested

1. Increase in Lies-

As we see, people are spreading fake news on social media for views and money.

2. Disappearance of Knowledge and Rise of Ignorance-

The distance from religion is clearly visible. The Quran and Hadith are not read with understanding; people repeat what they hear without comprehension.

3. Increase in Natural Disasters -

As mentioned earlier, cloudbursts and sudden heavy rains have destroyed many villages and cities. Earthquakes, shifting weather patterns, these are terrifying, people.

4. Incompetent People Becoming Leaders -

This sign has already appeared. There are no just rulers like Hazrat Umar (رضي الله عنه). No one today fits the ideal of leadership that Islam has outlined.

5. Widespread Adultery and Alcohol -

Marriage is being made difficult, while adultery (whether through the eyes or hands) is becoming normalized.

6. Strange and Unusual Behavior of Animals and Birds-

Reports of animals and birds forming circular patterns before natural disasters.

7. Anxiety, Overthinking, Evil Eyes, Envy, and Fear Growing in People -

Selfishness has become widespread. Every person is trapped in confusion. Apathy and disinterest have increased.

Those who do good keep reminding others of it. There is a strange fear in hearts. The evil eye and jealousy have planted their thorns deep in hearts.

Advice of the Prophet

What did the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ say: Why do clouds burst?

Seek Allah's protection when you see dark clouds, torrential rainstorms, and cloudbursts.

Hazrat Syeda A'isha رضی اللہ عنہا, the wife of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, reported:

I never saw Allah's Messenger ﷺ laugh to such an extent that I could see his uvula, whereas he used to smile only, and when he saw dark clouds or wind (the signs of fear) were depicted on his face.

I said: Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I find people being happy when they see the dark cloud in the hope that it would bring rain, but I find that when you see that (the cloud), there is an anxiety on your face.

He said: 'A'isha, I am afraid that there may be a calamity in it, for a people were afflicted with wind. When the people saw the calamity, they said:

"It is a cloud which would give us rain."

Dear Readers,

Belief in the Day of Judgment is essential for every Muslim; whether someone accepts it or not, it is part of our faith that humans, animals, the earth, the heavens, and the entire universe will all perish one day. Cloudburst and Animal Spinning are signs.

The only eternal being is Allah, the Almighty. Only Allah knows how long this world will last. Remaining steadfast in faith will become increasingly difficult.

When Seeing Dark Clouds (Fear of Harm) Supplicate:

اللَّهُمَّ حَوَالَيْنَا وَلَا عَلَيْنَا، اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى الْآكَامِ وَالظِّرَابِ، وَبُطُونِ الْأَوْدِيَةِ وَمَنَابِتِ الشَّجَرِ

"Allāhumma ḥawalaynā wa lā ‘alaynā, Allāhumma ‘alal-ākāmi waẓ-ẓirābi, wa buṭūnil-awdiyati wa manābitish-shajar."

Translation:

"O Allah, let it rain around us and not upon us. O Allah, let it rain on the hills, small mountains, valleys, and places where trees grow."

Repent to Allah:

"O Allah! I seek refuge with you from the punishment in the grave and from the punishment in Hellfire and from the afflictions of life and death, and the afflictions of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal."

Sahih Bukhari 1377.

Do not support falsehood. Seek knowledge of the Deen (religion).
